Summer Story: Waiting and Screaming
Hi!!
HAPPY SUMMER 2015 EVERYONE!
As you read on the title, I've decided that my summer series is going to be called, "Summer Story." Every summer has a story and this will be my way of sharing my stories of Summer 2015. This series will include all I wrote about in my Summer 2015 Bucket List post (read it here) and more. I'm excited! Hope you are too.

These past few days have been incredible. On Thursday, I met up with some of my good friends to have brunch and hangout. We ended up trying to cafes and dessert places. We walked around a lot so I ended up getting one of my favorite things to drink- Pressed Juicery.
On Friday, I spent my day at the "happiest place on earth." Well technically, Downtown Disney…close enough. HA! My dad had a breakfast meeting at one of the hotels so my mom, brother, and I tagged along to hangout. Since we left the house pretty wary, I had no time to drink coffee. So of course I got some as soon as we got to Downtown Disney. When my mom got hungry, we made our way to Earl's Sandwich.
Outside Earl's there was this big image(?). It was beautiful. I loved it. It was in honor of the new Disney movie, Inside Out. The thing was simple, but amazing. I think it was a brilliant idea.
When we were walking along Downton Disney and checking out the shops, my mom and I looked around a lot at all the fun things they sold. When I saw the couples' shirts in the Disney store, I purchased it as a gift for my dad. It suits my parents perfectly, considering my mom's name is… Minnie.
After we met up with my dad, we decided to hangout for a little bit and then head to the Anaheim Packing District since none of us has ever been there before. We had a late lunch there and then tried the infamous, Popbar. My dad mistakenly read it as Poobar when he first read it. It was hilarious.
Saturday and Sunday I didn't do anything since I was really tired. Since Sunday was Father's Day, my family did go out for dinner and I made Blueberry Crumble for dessert.
Monday, I finally went to Six Flags with my cousin. We also invited to of our friends. Ten hours in a theme park, talk about exhausting. Not to mention that the summer heat has finally come. Finally got to ride Twisted Colossus. It was so fun! That is now one of my top favorite rides in Six Flags Magic Mountain, besides Goliath (which was closed for the day) and Tatsu.

My dad tried to take a selfie and failed. So I took the picture. |

We played a game which required us to slap each others' hands. Let me tell you, it was brutal! Someone go bruised. Someone got cut. But it made time go fast and it was fun to play. Towards the end of the trip, my cousin and I got away from the group to eat. We got Panda Express which was not that good. I hadn't eaten all day and we were desperate.
Lastly, my brother (RJ), our friend (Agatha), my cousin (Abby), and I decided to die Full Throttle one more time. When we were in line a music group with the name- Veolocity- played covers of songs. They were good! They began their set with Somebody Told Me by the Killers, catching my attention ASAP. Their lineup for the set was fun to dance too cause I knew all the songs they played. After the ride, my cousin and I decided to check out the group again. We got to meet some of their members. Shoutout to the members of Velocity!

At the end of the day, we ended up at a Thai restaurant since most of the members in our group was starving. Here's a photo of my food since I couldn't pronounce it. Say "YUMMMM!"
This is my first post on my blog for my summer series! I'm so excited for what this summer holds. If any of you want me to try new things/write about something in specific, let me know! I'd be happy to try it.
That's it for today. Thanks for reading!
“Aaah, summer - that long anticipated stretch of lazy, lingering days, free of responsibility and rife with possibility. It’s a time to hunt for insects, master handstands, practice swimming strokes, conquer trees, explore nooks and crannies, and make new friends.” - Darrell Hammond
