Words and Flowers

Afternoon darlings!

These past few days have been like a roller coaster ride! This week is our eighth week of Spring Quarter 2015. Seriously, three weeks of classes left, and then finals. Then, I'll be officially done with my junior year of university! All my friends are talking about graduation (since most of my COMM friends are graduating). I'm excited for them. But I'm also sad that I won't be able to experience my senior year as a college student with them. BOOOOO!!

Last weekend, I did absolutely nothing. I stayed home for most of the weekend. I spent my nights playing with makeup and posting awkward videos on snapchat. I ended up saving all of them onto my phone. HA! On Sunday, I had the opportunity to hang out with one of my mentee (a little sister I never had #2). We went to Lemonade and got out faves- mac n cheese and lemonade. It was nice to spend some time hanging out with her and talking.

This is such a basic picture but I live in LA, and trust me, looking at palm trees never gets old. Monday evening, I had dinner with my coworkers at a ramen restaurant at Ventura. It was delicious! If you like ramen and live around North Hollywood, make sure you try out Tamashi.

Today, I stayed home because I don't have a lab for my biology class. I also ended up waking up very late… I decided not to work out because my ankles and arms are really sore from my Monday workout. I think I might've over-worked my muscles so I don't wanna push myself too hard. I hope to get back on my schedule on Friday though.

When I woke up, I was too lazy to get up right away so I spent time on my bed listening to music, reading, and writing in my journal. It's always nice to have time by myself, I like having time to write my thoughts and feelings out onto my journal. When I did walk out onto the living room, I noticed that the flowers my dad got my mom for Mother's Day are dried out. But they still look really pretty.

My cousin and her children are here. It's always fun to be surrounded with them. Kids always have a ball of energy I now wish I had. Time to spend time with these amazing people. Have a lovely rest of your day!

xoxo -Mira
