Fundays and Delicious Food
Hey everyone!Saturday and Sunday has turned out to be a very unplanned productive weekend. Let's take a look back on my weekend events shall we? Let's go!!
On Saturday I woke up early to get ready for school. That's right, I went to school on a Saturday morning! But not for the reason you think I went. I had to go to school because there's was a writing exam I had to take that's required by my university. It was pretty easy and I'm pretty confident I passed... or at least I hope so. After taking the exam (and being the last to exit the classroom), I tagged along with a few friends to have lunch. We headed to a restaurant called, The Boiling Crab. Here's a view of the delicious food:
I give photo credit to my friend Kyle because I couldn't get a nice photo.
I give credit to a new friend I made, Jeffrey, for the photo above.
If you haven't tried this place I encourage you to go because it's so good! But I should probably inform you that you get to wear a bib, there are not cutlery, and you use your fingers to eat. Not your normal restaurant I tell you.
After our lunch date, my friend Jenilee and I went on an adventure and took the public transit to go home. Once we got to my house we spent a good amount of time watching funny YouTube videos and talking then walked to Yogurt land for some frozen yogurt for dinner.
A fact about me is that when I go to Yogurt land (nearest to my home), I try the other new flavors but always end up getting the same combination: plain tart, strawberries, mochi, and white chocolate chips. However, in the picture above, I do have mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups because I decided to try something new. When I got home I spent the rest of the night doing my homework so I could use today to blog. Yay for being responsible!
Now as for Sunday, well today basically, I went to church in the morning then hung out with some friends and we talked about Halloween and what costumes to dress as. Any ideas of what/who I should be? After that, I came home to finish the last bit of an essay I have been working on for three days! Once I finished, I did some chores... more like did the laundry and caught up with my TV programs: Hawaii Five-O and Survivor.
Then my mom asked me to make dinner and it was SUSHI night! It was difficult at first but my little brother and I had fun making them and here's how they turned out:
Looks delicious right? They were! Yummy food in my tummy! Anyways, I am aware that this post only includes pictures of food from my weekend but I promise my pictures won't be all food. This upcoming week will be a busy week for me and I can't wait to share it with you!
'Till my next post,
xoxo -Mira
